I found this gem on Normal Cooking and couldn’t wait to give it a try! I made a couple changes and made it gluten free by using GF Bisquick and GF taco seasoning.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1 package taco seasoning
½ cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat the oven to 400. Brown the onions in a pan.
Add ground beef.
While beef is browning, sprinkle on taco seasoning.
Make sure all your beef is cooked thoroughly before removing from the stove.
In a small bowl, mix milk, eggs, and Bisquick.
In a pie or cake pan, pour the ground beef on the bottom.
Slowly pour the Bisquick batter over the meat.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Take out of the oven and sprinkle the cheese over the top. Bake for another 10 minutes.
Let it cool and enjoy with some salsa or sour cream!

Thanks for reblogging my recipe! Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Delish!! Even better than I anticipated.
We’re trying this tomorrow night for dinner! Thank you for posting this recipe!
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
Yum! This looks good!
I have never tried Bisquick though… have you ever made this with a homemade alternative? I’d love to try!

This was actually my first time trying te recipe! I am sure there has to be some concoction of ingredients for a Bisquick substitute but I have no idea what it’d be.
Ok. I might look around for a substitute. 🙂
